MTK Universal AK Optics Mounting Plate

Russian AK design MTK-01 universal optics plate, for installation on left side of AK type rifles. This plate will mount most types of Russian and European AK optics, or can be used with NIMP or MTK-75 scope mounts to utilize any domestic or foreign 1" standard scope. This item is very easy to install with just a drill and a measuring device such as calipers or a rule. Once installed, it looks factory, no screws show, and it is finished in a deep black matte coating of the type used on modern Kalashnikovs made at Izhmash and Arsenal in Bulgaria. This scope plate kit is packaged with an installation instructions w/ drawing template, special wrench, and two sets of custom length screws for use with either milled or stamped receivers.

Russian MTK-75 scope side mounting bracket assembly w/1" split rings. This is my favorite for mounting any 1" standard scope on any AK with standard or thumbhole stocks. It has 1" split rings which allow mounting of up to 9x12x40mm scopes on AK's. The design positions the scope well forward, which gives the ultimate eye relief for comfortable forward stance shooting with very high powered long scopes.
MTK-75 scope mount seen here, on SLR-95, outfitted with Bushnell 3x9x40mm Sportview. Even with the large diameter scope lens cover, there is room for the mount to slide on and off without interfering with the rear sight leaf. This is the best method for mounting very large diameter objective lens scopes to the AK. This SLR has the MTK side optics plate installed as well.
