Privately Owned Military, Preban & Selective Fire Rifles
"The Bulgarian gun was imported from Bulgarian government arsenal over three years ago. It was brought in direct via- a gun broker in England, who was able to get a total of four guns out of the arsenal. One was an AKSU in 5.45x39 cal. and three were para model AK-74's in standard 5.45x39 cal. They were issued with four mags, sling, cleaning kit, mag pouch, and bayonet, for the para models. The Bulgarian AKS74U was issued with pouch, four mags, sling, two different flash/ muzzle brakes, and small green canvas carry case. The set of blond limited edition wood set, along with wood grip, and also a set of standard black plastic grip, and dark stain wood front handguards."
"I was told only ten sets of this blond wood was done up for export for the AKS-74U, and the same short model with milled receiver in 7.62x39 cal. Both guns are brand new. They are two out of the four in country, the 7.62x39 gun with the blond wood set is currently pictured in Janes Infantry Weapons Annual , 1999-2000 edition in the Bulgarian section."
"I have wanted either model for over ten years, and now have the pair that I have been searching for. They have a nice circle 10 stamp on them and the serial stamped next to that. The finish is black.and the bolt carrier and the top covers are stamped with the serial number also, and they still have light cosmo on them."

These are owned by lucky fellow collector"Krinkov," from the web boards. Click the image to the left to enlarge. ---editor
Krinkov has sent photos of more expensive toys, including this nice SVD in original calibre. It is displayed with a with a full kit of original Russian SVD accessories and assorted Russian paraphenalia. Included is both the factory, military and commercial manuals for this type of rifle. PSO scope includes canvas cover.
Another view of the rifle, shows the laminated buttstock, and original SVD flash hider. Bayonet included in the photo is the late pattern Russian black plastic model, issued today with both Kalashnikov and Dragunov rifles.
More toys, these rifles include a still-in-the-wrap (NIB) Chinese NDM 86 SVD Drag at top, and two Maadi AKM's below. The center Maadi is an original preban with the early style German side foolder attached. These folders were apparently sold to Egypt and were most likely original DDR and made in East Germany . Only a few dozen of these were imported by an independent company, and are about the rarest version of Maadi. The rifle below this is a fixed stock version of the same gun. Both Egyptian AKM's are factory built and are in like new condition.
Here is another view of the Egyptian rifles, owned by Krinkov of the AK boards. Any collector would be proud to have these quality pieces in their Kalashnikov collection. The Chinese SVD is also a choice firearm, and worthy of the Dragunov name.
This US-built AKS-74U is a fine example, and was until recently owned by "krinkov" from the boards. It has been constructed using a Bulgarian parts set. You will notice that there are very little changes from the orifginal Russian version, and that there are very little changes in the actual metalwork.
